Widely used with other spices such as cloves, cinnamon, ginger, galangal, garlic, turmeric, basil, coriander, and many peppers. Other major uses include the addition of this powder to curry, soups, stews or stocks, for a fresh lemongrass flavour. Furthermore, it is an original spice to rub on scallops or chicken breasts.
For recipes that call for one stalk of fresh lemongrass, substitute with 1 tsp. of this Powder. If you need a stronger taste of it, you may add more.
